Restorative yoga is a gentle, meditative practice that uses props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to support the body in various poses. The goal is to hold each posture for extended periods—anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes—while relaxing deeply and focusing on your breath. Unlike faster-paced styles like vinyasa or power yoga, restorative yoga is about letting go, not pushing or exerting force. The poses are designed to promote relaxation and allow your body to release tension in a way that feels effortless.
